"This note is to express my sincere appreciation for the professionalism shown by the event planner at a recent affair that I participated in. The event was the wedding of Ms. Shari Gray and Mr. Tyronne Antoinne Sally. The wedding and reception were held in July of 2010 at the Omni Hotel in Richmond Virginia. I was the Mistress of Ceremonies for the wedding reception. As a former manager for Philip Morris Inc.'s Finished Goods department, I expect timeliness, professionalism and meticulous planning for all affairs; I am involved with. My time is valuable. If someone is the least bit late, I immediately feel that there is a lack of respect for my time. As an honors graduate with a B.A. in theater from Hollins University, I also look for events that are unique and creative. I am happy to say that this event included all of the aforementioned desirable qualities.
The event planner was the first to arrive at all of the rehearsals. Once there we were always presented an agenda for the day, which was strictly adhered to. I observed her listening to last minute changes/suggestions made by the bride and groom with calmness and sincerity. She made requested changes at the last minute without upsetting "the flow" of the evening. Her staff was informed and moved about with focus and purpose.
